Every candy shop sells an assortment. We have one sweet that belongs only to us, thought up behind this counter and asked for by name ever since. It is the line our own sign leads with: home of the Stick in the Mud.
Twenty-one years later, the regulars still walk in already knowing which one they came for.

We never had a website to find us through. Folks found us anyway, and kept coming back.
The little white house with the red door
You will know us when you see us. We are the little white cottage on 700 W, red door out front and an oval yard sign by the walk. Push the door open and the whole case is right there: hand-dipped chocolate, the caramel apples when they are in season, and the Stick in the Mud.
Most of the folks who come through that door have done it before. A lot of them tell us the same thing: they have been coming here for years.
